From Telegram Chat to Web3 Magic: How AI & I Built a Generative Visual Novel Startup! 🤯✨

Remember those late-night chats where anything felt possible? For me, one of those chats, bouncing around ideas in a Telegram group, sparked something incredible: a fully generative visual novel! It started small, just poking around with Ren’Py to show off what it could do. But then, a crazy thought hit me: what if we serialized a story?

I took that idea and ran with it, using AI to whip up the artwork and then crafting a script for the first chapter. Honestly, the cycle of writing a draft, feeding it to the AI, and getting back a fantastic scenario in under an hour was…addictive! Before I knew it, ten episodes were done.

Now, here’s the funny part. I was seriously doubting myself – could I actually write something compelling? But the AI… it just worked. It was ridiculously fun, and it got me thinking about everything from the future of creative talent to the role of AI in content creation. For kicks, I kept the AI involvement a secret, and when a YouTube playthrough went live, the comments were wild! People were seriously complimenting my “writing skills” – talk about a whoops moment! 😂

Fast forward to October 2024. I attended a game dev conference and dove deep into the visual novel scene. Everyone was asking: how do you actually make these games? What's their history? And, crucially, can you make money doing it? The answer became clear: the future belongs to generative content. Suddenly, creating captivating narratives felt less about raw talent and more like…gaining a superpower! ⚡️ It's like having a secret weapon in your creative arsenal.

And that’s when I knew I had to be upfront. I’m all about transparency, especially in the Web3 space. I decided to share the truth: the AI was my partner in __crime__! 🤝

I threw myself into GitHub GameOff 2024, dedicating a whole month to building a prototype. You won't believe it – it smashed it! 🎉

Now, here's where things get really interesting. We're turning this into a full-fledged Web3 “startup”! We're talking incredibly detailed stories, mind-blowing illustrations, animations, even voice synthesis – all powered by cutting-edge AI models.
